Cresskill Real Estate

Nestled amid Bergen County’s luscious surroundings in New Jersey, Creskill is a borough that combines laidback suburban living and thriving community lifestyle. The name “Creskill” came from a perennial plant which sprouted from the borough’s stream.

Established in 1894, Creskill is now home to 8, 573 residents or around 2, 318 families. This borough boasts of an ideal location which enables its residents to have an easy access to New York City. In the latter part of the 18th century, people benefited from Creskill’s railroads which provided gateway to a large chicken hatchery. Back in the days, Creskill also became an important debarkation point of millions of American soldiers being sent to World War I.

The Camp Merritt, located right at the heart of the borough, served as a notable transportation point. As a tribute, the community dedicated a huge stone pillar called “The Monument” which stood right at the centre of The Camp Merritt Circle. Today, the community of Creskill still enjoys easy access to New Jersey’s key destinations including major transportation routes, top shops, and notable recreational facilities.
